SCRC Field Day, 2021

Field Day was a great success, we had a total of 77 people present, set up 3 HF stations, VHF, and UHF. We operated as “3A”. Food was good and the company outstanding, we had a great time.

Present was Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine, Suffolk County Legislator Jim Mazzarella, ARRL coordinator Jim Mezey, Red Cross Coordinator Bob Zazzera, ARRL Emergency (Ares) Coordinator Russ Logar. The Long Island Advance did a 2 hour interview on us, and TriHamletNews did a nice write-up of our field day activities! We all had a fantastic time….

Thanks to all the Boy and Girl Scouts that came and enjoyed Ham Radio!
